TANK PREPARATIONS
Please make sure you have your tank set up and properly cycled, ready to go before ordering. Tank size is absolutely important so please plan all this out before ordering with us. This is the utmost important step that needs to be taken before we send off any fish or shrimp to a new home.
BETTA CARE
Please do your homework before buying any fish, even if not from us. It is your responsibility to provide the best care and proper environment for these guys once they are delivered to you. Heated and clean water along with a varied diet is a must.
WEATHER
Please be mindful of the weather in your area when placing an order. In times of extremely hot or cold weather, we will hold and postpone shipping if necessary and reschedule with you when the weather improves. If the weather does not improve within a reasonable time frame, we will issue a refund for your order. We always recommend overnight shipping for live fish.

SHIPPING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
We are not responsible for delays with UPS or USPS and there will be no refunds for delayed packages. We employ a 3rd party shipping service and the company does not refund for mishandled or delayed packages for live animals. We will work on issuing a credit on a cases by bases basis for orders that used UPS shipping only.
Please be mindful of weather conditionals in your area. UPS & USPS may face delays due to weather and that will be indicate on the tracking updates. We will follow up with the tracking info to make sure that packages are indeed delivered. In case of lost or damaged packages, please message us directly via website chat.
LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
Live arrival guarantee only applies to UPS NEXT DAY AIR shipping. This guarantee is not valid for UPS 2nd Day or Priority Mail shipping. Please make sure someone is available at your location to accept delivery.
Please contact us within an hour of delivery if there are any DOAs. This guarantee covers the replacement or refund for the fish only. Again. Shipping is NON-REFUNDABLE.
TAIL NIPPING AND FIN CHEWING
Most long finned bettas may end up with some type of fin damage in transit. If there is anything wrong with the betta, guppy or shrimp for that matter prior to the scheduled ship date, we will contact you via TEXT to the phone number that you've provided with your order and give you the option for a replacement or a refund. We will not send out any fish with issues (unless noted on the site with skin tags or odd shaped bodies) YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BEFOREHAND.
DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA)
- PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE BAG(S).
- PLEASE TAKE (5) Clear pictures of the unopened bag in front of our box with your address label showing within an hour of delivery.
- Please contact us and send the pictures VIA TEXT to 818-454-3894 OR Website chat and we will get back to you ASAP
- We will credit / refund your loss based on price paid per unit (shrimp). Any replacement offers will be sent at our discretion.
- Once you've opened the bags, we are not responsible for any losses thereafter. SO PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE BAGS IF THERE ARE DOAs BEFORE THE PICTURES ARE TAKEN.
OUR QUARANTINE TIMES
All bettas, guppies and shrimp are quarantined for one week after arrival. When they are good to go, the website will be updated with new stock. They will also go through at least a 24 hour observation period (if not longer) before they are packaged and shipped out. We highly suggest that you quarantine all fish / shrimp in a separate tank before homing them into your main tank.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
CANCELLATIONS WILL BE CHARGED A 25% FEE. WE WILL PROCESS THE REFUND FOR CANCELLATIONS 48 TO 72 HOURS AFTER THE REQUEST.
